Movement
Iron pillar plated movement on vertical verge escapement with balance. The movement with striking train on count-wheel striking the hours and alarm. The going and striking trains are driven by a barrel with fusee, the alarm train by a barrel.

Dial
The round brass fire gilt dial-plate with touch knobs. The outer ring with Roman numerals I-XII for the hours and the inner ring with Arabic hour numerals 13-24. The hour pierced hand is made of blued steel. In the center of the dial plate the brass fire gilt alarm disc with engraved Arabic numerals and engraved scrolling foliage.

Case
This brass fire gilt case is engraved with floral decorations. Beneath the dial he case is punchmarked by the stamp of the city of Bamberg. The corners are decorated with columns. The striking indicator dial at the back side with engraved Arabic numerals and a blued steel hand. The bell is placed on top of the case covered by a brass fire gilt engraved dome and crowned by a figure. At the front is a small slide to set the alarm on – off.
